Amongst the many popular choices, probably no other location has become as synonymous with Spring Break as Daytona Beach in Florida. Sandy beaches and stunning blue water coastlines stretch an awesome 23 miles and sport some of the best activities around. Once you get here, it’s a non-stop party filled atmosphere. The beach during the day is one big parking lot. Cars are allowed to drive on the beach and many partygoers cruise up and down the shore looking to be seen. Drinking is prohibited on the beach, and restricted to bars and hotel pool decks, but if your taste buds are tingling don’t worry, because bars and hotels lace the shoreline. From sunrise to sun fall, and even throughout the night, the hotels pack in a party crowd with a variety of contests, some by the pool and some with drink specials that abound.
If you're not into the party scene Daytona shows off with an abundance of other activities like horseback riding, golfing, cycling, fishing, and jogging. All types of childlike amusements can be found beachside along the Daytona Beach Boardwalk, and if you don’t mind a short drive, Disney World, "the happiest place on earth", is within a couple hours' drive, along with Sea World and Universal Studios Florida in the Orlando area.
