Malibu, what a place to spend your Spring Break. Miles of gorgeous canyons with challenging hiking trails and some of the most popular beaches make up the Malibu strip. Enjoy a day of boogie boarding and swimming at the famous Zuma Beach, or try your skills at surfing at Malibu Surfrider, the ultimate beach that attracts only the “serious surfer”. If you would like to spend your days hiking, fishing, swimming or checking out the tide pools at low tide, try Carillo State Beach, Malibu Creek or Malibu Lagoon State Parks. Don’t forget to plan a day trip to Point Dume State Beach where you can watch the migration of the gray whales (in season). You won’t want to miss the hiking trails at Topanga or Malibu Canyon or Kanan Road, where you can check out the breathtaking beauty of the desert landscaping. There are also plenty of shops in Malibu where you can buy everything from elite to thrift store clothing and most important, don’t forget to buy your souvenirs for everyone back at school and home. Malibu also offers an elite nightlife where you can enjoy premiere ocean-side dining and partying at one of the many famous clubs and restaurants. This is also a great place to celebrity-watch, since several of the “famous people” have made this haven their home.
